Who We Are
The firm consists of alumni from BigLaw. Our lawyers have served in the General Counsel role for Apptronik, ICON Technology, LINQ K-12, and Match.com, and in the legal departments of Aceable, IBM, Disney, Mach Industries, Southwest Airlines, BP, and Terraformation. We are frequently adverse to legal counterparts from BigLaw and from the legal departments of Fortune 500 companies.
We are proud to have been recognized by Chambers in its Regional Spotlight (2023-2026) as one of the "best small firms in Texas" and a "credible alternative to Big Law" for our Corporate and Commercial Practices.

The firm was founded in 2017 by Paul Huggins and Jay Reddien. Paul and Jay met in 2006 while practicing together in the Austin office of a Silicon Valley law firm, and also co-founded a corporate and commercial firm in 2010 before deciding to start a firm focused on the commercial side of technology. Paul and Devika met while negotiating a deal across from each other in 2019 and Devika joined Paul and Jay in 2026, resulting in the firm being renamed Huggins Reddien Kornbacher LLP.
We are headquartered in Texas and our lawyers are licensed to practice in Texas, California, New York, and other states.
